Web Hosting: Acceptable Use Policy

We demand that our customers use the Internet with responsibility and courtesy, and to ensure that all content that they publish is legal, honest and decent.

This acceptable use policy is strictly and actively enforced. Offending users or content will removed from the network, as soon as they are discovered, after we have informed you when and why the action has to be taken.

Use your Common sense as a guide as to what is acceptable use, bearing in mind that the following are unacceptable uses:

• Illegality
  In any form, including but not limited to harassment, fraud, or trafficking in obscene material or unauthorised distribution or copying of copyrighted software or other data.
• Undesirable Content
  Certain types of content are not permitted on our network. We do not host content of an "adult" nature. You are not allowed to publish material relating to Hacking, Cracking, Warez and "Internet Relay Chat". Software downloads may only be hosted if you are the copyright owner of the software. All other software including freeware is forbidden if you are not the copyright owner of the source. Video and audio downloads can only be hosted if you are the copyright owner of the work.
• Bulk Email
  The use of our network to send bulk email (whether opt-in or otherwise), and the use of "spam" email (whether sent from our mail server or another network) to promote a site on this network is strictly forbidden.
• Misuse Of Resources
  Do not employ aplications or scripts which consume excessive CPU time, memory or storage space. Chat/IRC, web proxy and mailing list scripts are not allowed under any circumstances. Streaming media is a drain on web server resources is therfore not allowed. The use of web cam applications which maintain a constant connection uploading an image at intervals is forbidden.

If you are unsure about content that you wish to place on our network, please check with us before you do. We reserve the right to determine what constitutes acceptable use.
